Vocational Service
Vocational Service involves club members serving others through their professions and aspiring to high ethical standards. Rotarians, as business leaders, share skills and expertise through their vocations, and they inspire others, including students, in the process. Below are some of the events and projects of the Vocational Service committee:
Dictionary Project:
The annual Goshen Rotary Dictionary Project is an activity which results in dictionaries being delivered to hundreds of area 3rd graders each school year. In 2014 we provided over 600 dictionaries to District 7 and parochial schools.
Scholarship Information:
Goshen Rotary awards a $2000 scholarship which is administered through the Edwardsville Community Foundation. Applications will be available through your guidance counselor.
Literacy Month Events & Programs:
In partnership with the Edwardsville Public Library, Goshen Rotary is proud to announce the installation of a Little Free Library in the Leclaire Park. For more information click here.
